Postpartum Support and Services
SERVICES
My clinical training and professional experience allow me to offer an array of therapeutic services and support. In addition to perinatal issues, I can also provide generalized therapy for depression, anxiety, grief & loss, relationship difficulties, and stress management.

Individual Therapy
New moms are not the only ones affected by postpartum depression and anxiety. There is growing research that shows that dads and partners are struggling as well. Individual therapy can help you feel more connected to your baby, improve your overall daily functioning, and get you back to feeling like yourself again.
Couples Therapy
Having a new baby certainly takes a toll on a marriage. Couples therapy can give you a safe and neutral place to work through parenting issues, improve your communication, and help you reconnect with your partner.
In-home Therapy
The first days and weeks following birth can be very overwhelming, especially if support is limited. Yet, leaving the house with a new baby can be equally intimidating! In-home therapy and consultation is aimed to help mother and baby adjust to their new environment, develop an efficient routine, and give mom the confidence to venture out of the house with baby in tow.
Lactation Support
As a Certified Lactation Counselor, and as a supplement to therapy sessions, I can provide education and support for breastfeeding moms. I can also assess and troubleshoot breastfeeding problems. For issues beyond the scope of my practice, I will gladly refer you to an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) as needed.
Walk and Talk Therapy
This service incorporates traditional psychotherapy with the benefits of exercise and the outdoors. Exercise, movement, and natural light have been found to have significant positive effects on depression and anxiety. Ask me for more details!
